I had not heard about this. To disrupt and disturb these families trying to deal with the absolute grief is the most un-Christian behavior, and reflects so badly on those who truly try to treat others as they want to be treated.
Phelps and his church are everywhere, it seems. They used to make headlines in Seattle on a regular basis -they'd show up every year with their "God Hates Fags" signs and get into rows with folks participating in the Gay Pride Parade. Since I've been down here in CA, they've shown up here and made headlines here a couple times too. I don't know how they pay for all their airfare. It's disgraceful, though. They shame the name of Christian.
